Come Crash and Burn With Me

I am a star,
A falling star…
I fall from Heaven.
Only to crash and burn.

My talent,
Dissolved.
My beauty,
Deceased.
My burning bright,
Extinguished.

Flames, red and hot.
Dust, delicate and dead,
Coal, cruel and black.
A man gets down on one knee.
A woman has her first child.
A baby says its first word.

Life goes on…

And still I fall.

I am a star,
A falling star.
I fall from Heaven.
Come crash and burn with me.
