beautiful gems like precious jewels,
a magnificent necklace,
bright burning balls of light
sharp against a velvety black sky.

A luminous glow
a bugling and mysterious moon
acting as street lights
along a path towards heaven,

She is starting to shrink
shrinking, shrinking
collapsing upon herself
collapsing, collapsing
she is burning up like an ill infant
burning, burning,
until she is but as small as a dwarf,

Her time is up

Her time is here

Forever gone without a tear!
